Finders Keepers allows players to find things by right clicking sparkling nodes. The nodes will give items, depending on the rarity of the item.

Finders Keepers calculates rarity through a weighted bag model. If the loot table of the rarity selected for a node is empty, it will drop it down until it reaches a rarity that has loot.

Node types can vary depending on what the settings on the server currently are. The way to differentiate them is as follows:

  • Different sounds
  • Different rewards
  • Whether they are personal or global

Most node types fall under this category. They are nodes that are generated for a single user and will only change when a user finds a node.

Global nodes are competitive for everyone on the server. When they respawn, if someone else gets to it first, you lose out.

Nodes only refresh in two ways

  • Server Restart
  • A previous node is found and it spawns a new node.

When a previous node is found, it will spawn a new node approximately 1 hour later in a random spot in the spawn points pool.

The possible rewards that could be on a finders keepers node are listed below.

  • Academy Money
  • Magical Items
  • Random Sentences
  • Password Door Passwords
  • A random family’s gift, curse, wealth, motto, bias, or blood type.
  • A random house’s prefect, broomball captain, leader, or player count.
  • A random wand woods owner’s success or power, non-owners success or power, gift, curse, loyalty, or alignment
  • A random wand core’s power, success, or learning.
  • A random spells name & description, name & movements, success rate, backfire rate, tier, type, or if it’s scroll locked.
  • A Random chocolate frog card’s name & date, or name & description.
